1. MCE Filter Membrane

MCE filter membrane is characterized by high porosity, excellent retention performance, and cost-effectiveness. It is not resistant to organic liquids and strong acid-base solutions. It is used as a laboratory consumable for sterilization and particle removal in experiments and small-scale production processes. Applications include filtration of coliforms in water, studies in research departments such as cell hybridization and mitochondrial complementation prediction, and analysis of particles and oil-insoluble substances in solutions to determine water pollution indices. It is also used for the sterilization of heat-sensitive drugs such as insulin ATP, coenzyme A, and other biochemical preparations.

  2. PES Filter Membrane

Polyethersulfone (PES) microporous membranes exhibit natural hydrophilic properties. Compared to other membrane types, PES membranes have excellent wetting properties, resulting in higher water flux. PES membranes show very low protein adsorption capacity and are widely used in the filtration and clarification of food, pharmaceuticals, and other fields. Their low protein adsorption makes them suitable for the preparation of biological samples, offering high flux, low protein adsorption, high strength, high flow rate, low extractables, and a particle retention rate of >99.99%. For sterilization, options include high-temperature steam sterilization, ethylene oxide sterilization, and gamma sterilization.

    Main applications include:

    • Medical: large-scale infusion of antibiotics, intravenous injection, etc.
    • Food: terminal filtration of beverages, wine, etc.
    • Terminal filtration of ultrapure water
    • General filtration and sterile filtration
  3. PVDF Filter Membrane

PVDF membranes require pre-treatment before use. They possess high mechanical strength, toughness, antifungal properties, high wear resistance, high permeability to gases and liquids, good thermal stability and flame resistance, low smoke generation, chemical corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance. It is a hydrophobic membrane with thin texture, fast flow rate, does not absorb moisture, and is easy to maintain a constant weight. It can undergo repeated high-pressure sterilization without changing its performance. After alcohol treatment, it becomes a hydrophilic membrane.

    Main applications include:

    • Purification of suspended particles in the air, removal of particles from solvents such as alcohols, acids, alkanes, aromatic hydrocarbons, and halogenated hydrocarbons.
    • Fermentation industry
    • Purification of suspended particles in the air and air sterilization
    • Purification of non-oil soluble substances and weight analysis of solid particles
    • Non-specific protein separation and purification
    • Concentration of water solutions, separation and recovery of chemicals

PVDF has highly consistent pore size and distribution, especially suitable for applications requiring low charge, offering pore sizes of 0.22μm and 0.45μm. It has high mechanical strength and chemical resistance, high protein binding capacity, and is commonly used in the filtration of liquid clarification and particle removal, photoresist filtration in the electronics industry, and filtration of various solvents and liquid drugs.

  4. PTFE Filter Membrane

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has strong acid and alkali resistance, hydrophilicity, and hydrophobicity. It is suitable for the clarification filtration of strong acid and strong base solutions, high-temperature liquid filtration, filtration of special chemical reagents, and hydrophobic air and gas clarification filtration.

  5. Nylon Filter Membrane

Nylon has a strong affinity for proteins and other large biomolecules. It is used in medical research and diagnosis, such as bacterial culture, biotechnology, biochemical analysis, DNA-RNA hybridization experiments, liquid scintillation counting, preparation of ultrapure tracers, electrophoresis, trace element analysis, etc.

  6. Cellulose Acetate Membrane (CA)

Cellulose acetate membrane is mainly used for the filtration of water solutions, offering high flow rates and thermal stability with extremely low adsorption. CA has low protein adsorption and is suitable for the filtration of low molecular weight alcohols and oil solutions, as well as the analysis and determination of special components in scientific research. The 0.2μm membrane is particularly suitable for the filtration of water solutions, buffer solutions, sera, and culture media. The 0.45μm membrane is suitable for HPLC mobile phase filtration. Published results regarding membrane adsorption are challenging to compare due to differences in filtration materials, conditions, and methods used, and the membrane under test has not been preliminarily removed.

  7. PP Filter Membrane

PP is acid and alkali resistant, wear-resistant, impact-resistant, and has uniform micropore distribution, a large filtration area, and good water permeability. It is widely used in the filtration of injection cleaning, pharmaceuticals, medicinal wines, oral liquids, beverages, daily water, wastewater, air filtration, etc.
